Bill was born Sept. 7, 1928, in Syracuse, KS to Raymond O. and Isabelle Lauback Scott Mabary. He graduated from Syracuse High School after which he enlsted in the Navy. Bill was a World War II veteran and a member of Paramount Baptist Church.
He married Patricia "Pat" Warner on Aug. 4, 1948, in Dexter, Ore. They had three daughters, Karen, Carol and Joyce. Bill retired from Colorado Interstate Gas Co., after 34 years of service.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter Karen Jones; and a sister, Twyla Reed.
Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Pat; two daughters, Carol Nickerson and husband Jerry of San Augustine and Joyce Mullins and husband Ken, five grandchildren, Kim Lucket and husband Shane, Brandon Bogue and wife Sarah, Allison Jones, Briar Jones and wife Jacoby, Kelci Whatley and husband Ryan; five great-grandchildren, Brandon Jr., Elaine, Peyton, Colton and Kameron.
The family will receive guests from 5-7 pm. Monday at the funeral home.
