Services for Shirley Carmichael Allen, age 77, of Hideaway, are scheduled for 10:30 AM on Monday, May 23, 2011 at the Lindale First United Methodist Church with Dr. Jack Cox & Dr. Bryan Brown officiating. Graveside Services are scheduled for 11AM on Saturday May 28, 2011 at the St. Francis City Cemetery in St. Francis, Kansas. Services are under the direction of Caudle-Rutledge Funeral Directors in Lindale.

Shirley was born on August 9, 1933 in St. Francis, Kansas. She was a lifelong member of the Methodist Church currently a member of the Lindale First United Methodist Church. Friends and family will miss her sassy sense of humor and warm, caring heart.

She is survived by: Husband, Charles Robert Allen of Hideaway. Son: Craig Allen of Claremont, CA
Daughters & Sons-In-Law: Christie & Joseph E. Snyder of St. John, Kansas; Robin Sue & Christopher V. Kerber of Rancho, Cucamonga , California; 4 Grandchildren: Nathan Snyder & wife, Anna; Luke Snyder; Matthew & Phillip Kerber
Great Grandson: Evan Oliver Snyder

Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Sunday at the Caudle-Rutledge Funeral Home.

Memorials may be made to the Lindale First United Methodist Church Building Fund.
