Kenneth W. Pauls, 75, died June 30, 2012, at his home. He was born Sept. 6, 1936, in Inman, the son of Henry and Olga (Schmidt) Pauls. He graduated from Inman High School where he played basketball. He earned an Associate's Degree from Garden City Community College. Kenny was a regular at Juco games and was a big fan of the Kansas City Chiefs and the Kansas City Royals. In 1998, he retired from Eaton as section foreman.
On Aug. 9, 1969, he married Sue Brandt in Hutchinson. Survivors include: his wife, Sue Pauls of the home; son, Cary Pauls (Shay Myers), Olathe; two daughters, Debra Mora (Marty), Hutchinson, and Kelly Pauls (Jeff Walters), Newton; three sisters, Norma Gordan (Fred), Florida, Marna Sanders (LeRoy), Indiana, and Delores Giles, South Hutchinson; seven grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. He will be terribly missed by his family and friends and his two lap companions, Joley and Cooper.

He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Walt, Harvey and Laverne; four sisters, Louella Atkinson, Verna Colley, Linda Borth, Ruby Greenfield; and great-granddaughter, Ana Liles.

Cremation has taken place. Memorial graveside service will be 10 a.m. Friday, July 6, 2012, in Penwell-Gabel Cemetery and Mausoleum, with Pastor Luke Helmuth officiating. Friends may sign the register from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday and the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. at Elliott Mortuary.
