Marriage - Biggs - Wicks- Patchogue, L.I., June 4- At the Wicks cottage on Ocean Avenue, yesterday afternoon Miss Debbie Ann Wicks and Mr. William Sidney Biggs of Oakdale were united in marriage. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. A.W. Byrt at 3 o'clock in the parlors, which were decorated with flowers and ferns. There were no attendants. The bride was attired in her travelling dress of brown ladies cloth trimmed with brown velvet. Only the immediate friends of the family were present. A reception followed the ceremony, after which the couple departed on a wedding tour to Lake George and other parts of New York state and upon their return will reside at Patchogue. Mr. Biggs is one of the largest oyster dealers at Oakdale and Miss Wicks is well known to Brooklynites.
In 1905, Deborah A. W. Biggs sold a parcel of land on Ocean Avenue, adjacent to Little Creek, with a right of way over the Lewis Wicks Farm Lane, to Mary Prior.
March 18, 1926- Wellington W. Floyd received word last week of the death of his aunt, Mrs. Deborah Biggs, of Patchogue. Several of the relatives motored to Patchogue Friday and attended the funeral.
