A native of Alamance County, she was the wife of the late James Morrison Boone and the daughter of the late John Willis Culberson and the late Betty Catherine Marley Culberson.
Mrs. Boone attended Piedmont Presbyterian Church.
She is survived by one daughter, Ms. Kathryn M. Boone, of Pelham, N.Y.; three sons, Thomas M. Boone and his wife, Linda, of High Point, James Michael Boone and his wife, Debbie, of Gibsonville and Donald L. Boone and his wife, Karen, of Semora; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and a sister-in-law, Mrs. Mildred Ezzell of Burlington.
