Kathleen P. Harper, 84, of Fairfield, died Aug. 4, 2004.
She was the wife of the late Captain John F. Harper, USMC.
She was the daughter of the late VanBuren and Myrtle Myton Pearce.
Mrs. Harper served as secretary for the administrator of Holy Cross Hospital, Silver Spring, MD from 1962 until retirement in 1982.
In 1940, Mrs. Harper graduated first in her class from Strayers Business College in Washington, D.C.
She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Emmittsburg, MD.
Surviving are two daughters, Leslie M. Wells of Fairfield and Dr. K. Lynne Mainzer of Alexandria, VA; three granddaughters and 14 great-grandchildren.
