BERLIN, N. H. - Marjorie H. Hodgdon, 61, died Sunday morning at St. Louis Hospital following a week's illness. She had been a resident of Moultonboro, N. H., for several years. She was visiting her daughter and family, Mrs. Geraldine Judson, West Milan. Mrs. Hodgdon was the widow of Samuel F. Hodgdon, Sr., a former member of the Berlin Police Department. She was born in Milan, Aug. 7, 1899, teh daughter of Stephen and Cora Smith Harriman. She was a horticulturist by trade. Surviving are a son, Samuel Jr., Moultonboro; five daughters, Mrs. Pauline Harris, Whitefield; Mrs. Laura Leighton, and Mrs. Marlene Porter, both of Moultonboro; Mrs. Judson; and Mrs. Patricia Purross, Meredith; a step-daughter, Mrs. Beulah Cordwell, Berlin; two brothers, Milton, Milan; and Edwin, serving with the Merchant Marines, address unknown; 12 grandchildren.
