Ruth was the daughter of Harry P. and Emma (Hurtig) Satter. She was married to Victor H. Sondag and they had two children.
Ruth was a member of the Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Monroe County Genealogy Society, past president of the Mary and Martha Society, past president of the Waterloo Monday Club and served as a treasurer for the Monroe County Red Cross for 25 years; charter member of the St. Clement Hospital Auxiliary and provided more than 35 years of service to the Waterloo Park District.
Ruth was preceded in death by her husband Victor; parents; and a brother, Dr. George A. Satter.
