CLYDE EMORY GOODMAN, in his 95th year, died peacefully on February 26, at the Lakeview Healthcare Center in Webster, Texas. A life long resident of Houston, Mr. Goodman was born on November 1, 1903, the son of E.C. and Jessie Goodman. Survivors include his brother and sister-in-law, Jim and Letitia Goodman of League City; and son, G.E. Goodman of Plano. In addition, Mr. Goodman is survived by three granddaughters, Cheryl Goode Floyd, Lisa Goode Russek and Glenna Goodman Gohl; and four great grandchildren, Claudia Floyd, Samuel Russek and Matthew and Allison Gohl. He was predeceased by his dear wife, Edna Mae and devoted daughter, Karen Goodman Goode. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 2, 1999 at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations by made to the American Cancer Society.
