Beverly D. "Bea" Hinderliter, 69, of Coolspring, died Sunday, June 10, 2012 at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh.

Born January 3, 1943 in Punxsutawney, a daughter of the late Dee Glenn and Elizabeth Amy (McCana) Sutter.

On November 9, 1963 she married Charles Franklin Hinderliter. He survives.

She was a 1960 graduate of the Punxsutawney Area High School. She worked for several years at Pramco and Punxsy Sportswear, and also worked with her husband at Hinderliter's Garage for over twenty years. Bea was a member of the Coolspring Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed going to church and reading.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two children, Troy Hinderliter of Conneaut Lake, and Amy Isbelle and husband Brian of Moscow, Idaho; two grandchildren, Stephanie Singleton and husband Justin of Brookville and Devin Isbelle of Moscow, Idaho; one great grandchild, Addison Singleton; one sister, Barbara McFarland and husband William of Rossiter, several nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by her parents, three sisters, Bobette Lechner, Bonnie Miller Bishop and Betty Heckler.

Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday, June 13, 2012 at Shumaker Funeral Home, Inc., Punxsutawney. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 14, 2012 at the funeral home, officiated by Pastor Darr Briggs and Pastor Andy Shaffer.

Interment will follow at Coolspring Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be made in "Bea's" memory to the Coolspring Presbyterian Church.
