Richards and 21 grandchildren survived her. The notice appeared in the Ithaca Journal, Monday pm, 11 June 1934. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at 2:00 pm at the home and the Rev. W.J. Hastings officiated. Raymond H. Middaugh, 319 State St, Ithaca was the undertaker. Burial was at Brooktondale in Quick's Cemetary.

Mrs. Alice Hannah Richards, 71, wife of George L. Richards, died Sunday, 16 June at her home near Caroline Center.
Besides her husband, she is survived by five children; Ella E. Richards, Mrs. Guy L. Porter, Mrs. Eugene Phillips, William F. Richards, Arthur L. Richards and by 21 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o’clock at the home. Burial will be at Brooktondale. The Reverend W.J. Hastings will officiate.
