Elmwood –Patrick John O'Hearn, 58,of Elmwood, died at Graham Hospital, Canton, at 10:10 p.m. Sunday. He was an employee of the Central Illinois Light Co. in Elmwood for the past 12 years. He had been in the hospital for the past five days.

He was born April 4, 1899, at Williamsfield, son of Patrick and Bethenia Leighton O'Hearn. He was married Feb. 28, 1942 to Helen White.

She survives with one daughter, Ruth O'Hearn of Elmwood; two brothers, Leslie of Brimfield; James of Hawaii; and one sister Mrs. Nellie Berry of Monica.

He had lived in Williamsfield and Elmwood all his life. He attended Palmyria Parochial School and was graduated from Williamsfield High School.

He had lived in Williamsfield wood Veterans of Foreign Wars.

Funeral services will be held in Patterson Funeral Home, the Rev. Daniel Sheehan officiating and burial will be in the Elmwood Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. today.
