Anna E. Jones, of Weatherly, Pa, passed away on Monday, July 11, 2005 at Lehigh Valley Hospital.
Born: On April 12, 1914 in Weatherly, Pa, she was a daughter of the late Robert and Anna Leffler Rothrock.
Personal: Her husband, William E., Sr., died earlier.
Prior to retirement, Anna worked at the Reed & Lovatt Silk Mill, Carbon County Home in Laurytown and Weatherwood.
Anna was a loving, caring, devoted mother, grandmother, and sister, who enjoyed basketball and was a loyal 76'ers fan.
Memberships: She was a member of Salem United Church of Christ, Weatherly.
Survivors: She is survived by a son, [*]; five daughters, [*] and her husband, [*], [*], [*]and her husband, [*], all of Weatherly, Pa, [*]and her husband, [*] of Easton; a sister, [*] of Weatherly; seven grandchildren, [*], [*], [*], [*], [*], [*], and [*]; three great-grandchildren, [*] and [*], and [*]; and many nieces and nephews.
A granddaughter, Sharon Gavitt, a great-grandson, Eric Poshefko, six brothers, Robert, Charles, "Jimsy", Allan, "Jack" and Donald Rothrock, and three sisters, Gertrude Long, "Bipper" Rothrock, and Iola Duser, all died earlier.
Services: Will be held on Monday at 11 a.m. in the church, with the Rev. Stephen S. Shanaman, her pastor, officiating. Friends may call on Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. in the Philip J. Jeffries Funeral Home, Weatherly, Pa, and on Monday from 10 a.m. until the time of the services in the church. Burial will be in Union Cemetery, Weatherly.
