Helen Whitehurst Harriman, 93, died Tuesday, April 27, 1993, in a hospital in Brockton.
Mrs. Harriman was born in Norfolk and was a former long-term resident of Virginia Beach. She was the widow of Brigadier General Joseph Eugene Harriman. She was the mother of the late Louise Harriman Keith and mother-in-law of the former Congressman, Hasting Keith of Falmouth, Mass., and Washington, D.C.
Survivors include two granddaughters, Helen Harriman Keith of Washington, D.C., and Carolyn Louise Sylvia of Bridgewater, Mass.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, 11 a.m., at Sampson Funeral Home, 309 Main St., Brockton. A memorial service in Virginia Beach will be planned at a later date.
