Funeral services for Alice M. Martin, 88, formally of 13 Tamarack St., were held Saturday at Sacred Heart Church, with the Rev. Msgr. Floyd J. Brown officiating. Burial was in St. Anne's Cemetery, St Regis Falls. The Phillips Memorial Home of Massena was in charge of the arrangements. Mrs. Martin died Thursday afternoon (May 1, 1986) at Meadow Brook Nursing Home, Plattsburgh, where she had been a patient for the past two years. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Edna Bodway, Niagara Falls, and Patricia Yandoh, Peru N.Y., two sons, Charles, of Roxbury, N.Y., and Jerry of Conesus, N.Y.; a sister, Agnes Cook, Lockport; a brother, Clifford Foley, Whitney Point, N.Y.; 13 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren. A daughter, Mrs. Ruby Holland, died in 1960. Mrs. Martin was born July 3,1898 in Bangor, N.Y., daughter of Joseph and Harriet Herteau Foley. In September of 1916 she was married to Edward Martin in St. Anne's Rectory, St. Regis Falls. He died in 1958. Mrs. Martin was a member of the Ladies Christian Benevolent Association (LCBA) and past member of the Royal Neighbors and Women of the Moose. She was a member of Massena Senior Citizens.
