Margaret M. De Coite
Margaret M. De Coite died on May 29, 2009 at the age of 89. She was born August 14, 1919 I Maui, Hawaii. She had been a resident of Pleasanton for 24 years.
Margaret was a homemaker and member of Saint Augustine Catholic Church in Pleasanton. Her hobbies were cooking, baking and sewing. She loved to sing and dance the hula while playing the harmonica and ukulele. Other interests included crochet and gardening.
Her husband, Edward, passed in September 15, 1990 and her youngest son, Reggie July 3, 1995. She is survived by her daughter Patricia Duncan (Jim) of Pleasanton and sons Edward De Coite (Helga) of Oakdale and Denis DeCoite (Joanne) of Fontana, Arizona. Margaret is also survived by nine grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
A mass was held at Saint Augustine Catholic Church in Pleasanton followed by interment/burial at Saint Michael's Catholic Cemetery in Livermore.
Both the De Coite and Duncan families would like to express a special thank you to the caregivers and staff of the Pleasanton Nursing & Rehab Center along with the Graham-Hitch Mortuary of Pleasanton for their dedication and service.
