HAMPTON - Lynda E. Allen, 82, passed away on Thursday, July 1, 2010.
She was a native of England and a resident of Hampton for 44 years. Mrs. Allen was a member of St. John's Episcopal Church and the British Wives Club of Hampton.
She was preceded in death by her son, Barry Allen.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her son, Steven D. Allen of Chesapeake; her daughter, Laura Allen of Klamath Falls, Ore.; and grandchildren, Samantha Allen of Wilmington, Del., and Amber Allen of Chesapeake.
