Third child of Calvin Matthew and Jennie Mae [Woodhouse] (Batty) Beatty. She died of scarlet fever.

Obituary, Colborne, August 1899
Much sympathy is felt for Mr. and Mrs. C. M. Batty who were called to part with their second daughter on Friday of last week. Little Allie was a very bright and lovable child of six summers and all the neighbors loved to meet and talk with her. In day school and Sunday school she was a decided favorite. She seemed to be full of vigor and brightness up to the last week of her brief life. Her sickness from the first was a severe one. All available means were used to overcome the disease and restore her to health; all efforts , however, were in vain. As long as life lasted, parents, physicians and friends hoped to see her restored, but it was otherwise willed and at noon on Friday the gentle spirit of another of the ransomed ones went to "be forever with the Lord." The mortal remains, covered with beautiful flowers which loving hands had gathered and sent in expression of sincere sympathy, were laid to rest in Salem Cemetery.
