Col. John J. Czerwinski, 70, of New Orleans, formerly of Baldwinsville, died Wednesday in Baldwinsville. He was born in Albion and raised in Baldwinsville. John was a graduate of Baldwinsville Academy and LeMoyne College. He served 30 years in the U.S. Marines.
Survivors: his wife, the former Marjorie C. Dormeier; a daughter, Kristy Meyer of Conroe, TX; a son, John of Portland, OR; his mother, Gertrude Czerwinski of Baldwinsville; two grandchildren, Skyler and Kendall Meyer; two aunts, Celia Spada and Isabelle Pegelow, both of Medina; and several cousins.
Services: 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Mary's Church, 47 Syracuse St., Baldwinsville.
