KEMPF, JOSEPH PAUL, 55, of Louisville and Savannah, GA, passed away Tuesday, April 17, 2007 at his residence. He was a native of Louisville, graduate of Flaget High School and U of L, and a member of Delta Upsilon Fraternity. He was owner and president of Joseph Paul Kempf and Assoc. and of Spencer-Osborne, Inc., an accomplished artist and the designer of the corporate headquarters of Dismas Charities, Inc., formerly Seagram Distillery. He embodied his mission of healing the human spirit. He was preceded in death by his mother, Martha Exely Kempf. He is survived by his wife, Jan Osborne Kempf; father, Joseph A. Kempf; brother, Christopher L. Kempf (Janet); and six nieces and nephews, Jennifer Kempf, Matthew Kempf, Bryan Barnett, Beth Gunter, George Jordan, Jr. and Hyde Jordan. Memorial visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Rd. Expressions of sympathy may be made to Dismas Charities, Inc.
