Gloria E. Clark, 90, passed away Tuesday, May 22, 2012 at Duke University Medical Center. Mrs. Clark was born in Trenton, NJ, the daughter of the late James Markey and the late Anna Fischer Markey. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Davis Clark and a daughter, Sandra Lynn Clark.
Mrs. Clark is survived by daughters, Gloria Buffaloe-Cook and husband, Kenneth K. Cook, of Hillsborough, Carol C. Pegram and husband, Charles N. Pegram, of Hillsborough, Shery A. Clark of Knightdale; and a grandchild, David A. Pegram and wife, Kelly S. Pegram, of Connelly Springs, NC. She was loved by her family and everyone who knew her.
Funeral service will be held Saturday, May 26, 2012, 11:00 a.m. at Ebenezer Baptist Church, 1210 Pleasant Green Rd. Hillsborough, NC by the Rev. Earl Echols. A private burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Raleigh.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Duke Children's Oncology, DUMC 2975, Durham, NC 27710.
