Lucy H. Bee, born in Tanner, WV on March 17, 1916, passed away on August 11, 2007 in Surprise, AZ.
She leaves to cherish her memory: husband of 67 years Blake Bee, sons and daughters-in-law, Richard and Dorothy Bee of MO, Roy and Janet Bee of VA, daughter and son-in-law, Sandra and Harry Coleman of AZ, sister Fonda Morriston, sister-in-laws, Violet Beavers of MD., and Blye Hatfield of WV, niece Hazel Robinson of AZ and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Lucy and her husband owned and operated their own business in Lexington Park, MD where they raised their family before selling and moving up to AZ in 1981.
She was a very active and supportive early member of Shepard of the Hills Methodist Church and the Soroptimist Club.
Lucy's memorial service will be held on August 25, 2007 at 10:30 AM at Sunland Memorial Chapel, 15826 Del Webb Blvd, Sun City, AZ 85351.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of the Valley, 9720 W. Peoria Ave., Ste 128, Peoria, AZ 85345 or St. Mary's/Westside Food Bank, 13050 W. Elm St., Surprise, AZ 85374.
