Casper Star-Tribune (Casper, WY) 11 Aug 1966, Thu., page 12, column 3: Mrs Bertha Clow Dies in Hospital * Mrs Bertha Clow, 74, died Tuesday night in the Natroan County Hospital following a brief illness. Mrs Clow was born 20 Jul 1892, in Gorin, MO, where she spent her early years. She later moved to Arbela, MO, where she and her husband farmed. Following his death, she moved to Kahoka where she made her home until 1956 when she moved to Riverton, where she lived until the time of her death. Mrs Clow as a very active member of the Riverton's Business Women's Professional Association, the First Baptist Church, and the Royal Neighbors. She is survived by a daughter, Helen Morine McNiece, of Tucson, AZ, and a son, Lee Clow of Rawlins, a brother, Albert N Reynolds, of Kahoka, MO and 5 grandchildren. Mrs Clow was entrained Wednesday evening for Kahoka where funeral services will be held at 2 pm in the Sorrell's Funeral Home.

Clark County Courier (Kahoka, MO) 5 Jun 1931, Fri, page 4 * Death of Roy Clow * Roy Clow, 48, husband of Mrs Bertha Clow of Kahoka, formerly of near Arbela, was found dead Monday following his escape from the State Hospital at Fulton, Saturday, 23 May. A message by telegraph and telephone from D. H. Hunt, superintendent of the hospital, told Mrs Clow of the finding of Mr Clow's body about 3 miles from Fulton, death being made by hanging. Mr Clow had been mentally ill for some time and had been sent to Fulton from Scotland County. Mrs Clow and brother, Ira Reynolds left at once for Fulton. The body was sent to Arbela for burial. Roy Clow as a son of Mr and Mrs Al Clow of near Lawn Ridge, Scotland Co. He was married to Miss Berth Reynolds, daughter of Mr and Mrs W. N. Reynolds, now of Kahoka in 1912. Surviving are the widow, Mrs Clow, 2 children, Lee and Maxine and his parents, Mr and Mrs Clow, 1 brother, Charles Clow, and 2 sisters, Josephine and Elsie Clow.
