Mrs. Smith was born Aug. 27, 1905, in Lorimor to Frank Harris Cornelison and Hannah (West) Cornelison. On Nov. 13, 1928, she married Oriel Randall Smith in Greenfield. He preceded her in death on April 13, 1979. She was a housewife and moved to Creston in 1928.
Survivors include a daughter, Shirley Anderson of Creston, three sons, Donald Keith of Dallas Center, Kenneth of Bella Vista, Ark., Carroll Smith with the U.S. Navy stationed in Virginia Beach, Va.; 10 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one step-granddaughter; and a brother, Wayne M. Cornelison of Creston.
Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Truman Vernon Cornelison and Lee Gerald Cornelison.
