Joseph Fish, who died in Stonington, in 1781, for fifty years a pastor of the second church in that place, she removed to Fairfield, where she resided with her daughter, Mrs. Gen. Gold S. Silliman, till her death." A monument in Stonington commemorates the Rev. Joseph Fish, his wife and three daughters.
