'Vinnie' Anello

Vinnie M. Anello, age 77, passed away Sunday, June 9, 2002, at Sutter Delta Medical Center, Antioch. She was a New York Native and a 57 year resident of Pittsburg. A homemaker, she formerly worked at Cacci's Delicatessen in Pittsburg and also at the information booth at the County East Mall, Antioch. She was a member of St. Peter Martyr Church, Pittsburg, Italian Catholic Federation and Young Ladies Institute. She also did volunteer work at St. Peter Martyr School. Vinnie enjoyed bingo and sports.

Survivors include her husband of 56 years, Sam P. Anello; three sons, Frank, John, and Sam Anello. Three grandchildren, Shannon Knight, Karen and Greg Anello. Two great-grandchildren, Alexa Anello and Hailey Knight. One sister, Mary Delligotti. Two brothers, Ignatius and Joe Spano. She was preceded in death by her brother, Frank Spano.
Vigil services will be Wednesday, 7:00 p.m. till 8:00 p.m., Pittsburg Funeral Chapel. Mass, Thursday, 10:00 a.m. at St. Peter Martyr Church, Pittsburg. Interment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery, Antioch.
