Gloria was the youngest daughter of Jerimiah " Jerry" Brickley and Elsie Luzier Brickley. She married Wayne R Shaw in 1947 and they had six children: Gary Lee Shaw, Dennis Wayne Shaw, Judith Elaine Boal Shaw, Donna Rae Knepp Conrad Shaw, Wayne Robert Shaw Jr, and Christina Louise Bloom Shaw.
Gloria and Wayne divorced and later Gloria had two children with Neal Woodel,: Neal William Shaw and Jerry Michael Shaw.
Gloria was a mother who thought only of her children and she sacrificed that they could have. She was a loving caring person who had a great sense of humor. She died at 42 years of age due to breast cancer and left four children still at home.Her hand written will attests to her love of family and concern that they remain close throughout life.
