"Carl T. Cornish, aged 74, of Chaseville, died July 23, at the Mary Imogene Bassett Hospital in Cooperstown. Mr. Cornish was born August 20, 1893, in Chaseville, the son of Albert W. and Florence (Willsey) Cornish. He never married. He was a handyman for many years and lived in the Schenevus area his entire lifetime. He was a veteran of World War I. Surviving are two cousins, Rex Wilsey, Schenevus, RD, and Bertha Balass of Royal Oak, Mich. and several distant cousins. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p. m. on Friday from the Bennett Funeral Home in Schenevus, with the Rev. George Reed, pastor of the West Oneonta Baptist Church, officiating.
