Jean Elizabeth Cameron, 84, Caldwell, died Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2008, at home of natural causes. Private burial will be at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Caldwell.
Jean was born Jean Elizabeth Ormsby on March 16, 1923, to Isaac and Maude Ormsby in Newburg, Mo. Jean graduated from St. Louis College of Pharmacy and began her career in the 1940s. After college she married Donald Lane who was killed in a car accident in 1954, only months before their son Donald Lane was born. Jean and Donald moved to Glendale, Calif., in 1958 where Jean continued her career as a Pharmacist.
She married Donald W. Cameron Jr. in June of 1961. Their union was blessed by their daughter Carolyn Cameron in June of 1966. Don, Jean and Carolyn moved to Idaho in 1977, where she continued her career as a Pharmacist and subsequently worked for BSU in the admissions office.
Jean enjoyed having her morning coffee and donuts with her friends. Jean loved and served her family every day of her life. Jean loved watching her children and grandchildren's sporting events, when possible she never missed a game.
Jean's husband Don passed away in July of 2004.
Jean is survived by her children, Donald Lane (Jeanette) of Caldwell, and Carolyn Foreman (Brian) of Caldwell; her grandchildren, Daniel, Jessica, Kayla, Jenifer, Melody, Becky, Cameron and Sydnee; her sister-in-law, LaRue Hiller of Idaho Falls, and children, Mark and Lisa.
