Mrs. Aida P. (McIlvain) Duchesne, age 67, of West Monroe, LA, died Tuesday, April 19, 2005, at Glenwood Regional Medical Center in West Monroe, LA. She was the daughter of the late Leonard McIlvain and the late Pilar McIlvain, having been born on May 17, 1937 in Manilla, Phillipines.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, her son David Duchesne and grandson Corey Dylan Atchison.
She was a homemaker and a very loving mother. She was a member of the Catholic Faith, and was an avid Fisherman, and loved her camp on Lafourche Lake.
She is survived by her daughters Lisa Bruce of Bogart, GA; Frances and husband Felix Boyd of Denham Springs, LA:, Sandra and husband Gene Atchison of West Monroe, LA; sons: Clyde Duchesne of Monroe, LA: Andrew Duchesne of Shreveport, LA: Lloyd Duchesne of Shreveport, LA; son Daniel and wife Ginger Duchesne of Calhoun, LA: son Nathan and Brien Duchesne of Monroe, LA: son Adam and Jessica Duchesne of West Monroe, LA; two sisters: Frances and Rosie; one brother, Manuel McIlvain all of California; a loving companion Clinton Works; nineteen grandchildren, four great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Thomas Duchesne, Jr., Roy Lee Duchesne, Jr., Gene Atchison, Todd Atchison, Eddie Duchesne and Steve Poole.
Funeral services will be at Chapel of Riser Funeral Home at 10:00 AM Friday, April 22, 2005, Rev. Danny Mc Ilvenne officiating. Interment will be at Hebert Cemetery in Hebert, LA.
