Diana Lynn McGlothlin Brost, 50, died Tuesday, March 1, 2005, in her West Lafayette residence. Born Aug. 9, 1954, she was the daughter of Harry McGlothlin, Sr and Marian Maxine Sense McGlothlin. She was a graduate of Harrison High School and had also attended Indiana State University. [Her first marriage was to Charles Livengood on June 14, 1980.] She married Kevin J. Brost Nov. 18, 2000, and he survives.
Mrs. Brost worked at Purdue University as a custodian for the past two years in addition to working part-time as a cashier at Walmart in West Lafayette. She had previously worked at CTS and Bioanalytical Systems. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, and she enjoyed collecting records and stuffed animals.
Surviving with her husband are her mother, Marian Maxine Sense McGlothlin; two brothers, Byron Keith McGlothlin of West Lafayette and Gary McGlothlin (wife Fluff) of Griffin, GA; a half-brother, Raymond McGlothlin of Nashville, IN; a half-sister, Elizabeth Pearson of Lafayette; also several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son, Harry Oliver McGlothlin; her father, Harry McGlothlin, Sr.; and a half-brother, Harry McGlothlin, Jr.
