Havre--Juanita L. (Stimson) Christiansen, 70, of Havre, who enjoyed sewing and knitting, died of natural causes Sunday at Peace Hospice Home in Great Falls. Her funeral service is at 2 p.m. Thursday at Fifth Avenue Christian Church in Havre, with burial in Highland Cemetery. A fellowship luncheon at the church will follow the burial.
Survivors include daughters, Karen Larson of Helena, Marion Schaub, Dawn Arensmeyer and Cheri Linderman, all of Havre; sons, Ben Christiansen, and Kevin Christiansen, both of Havre; brothers, Tom Stimsen, Bob Stimsen and Charley Stimsen, all of Arizona, and John Stimsen of Washington; a sister, Virginia Bennett of Oregon; 16 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Donald Christiansen in 2004.
