Born in Waterville, Me., she was the daughter of the late Charles and Sarah Brown (Morrill) Dingley. She was a life-long resident of Marblehead and a descendant of John Dingley, who came to this country from England in 1658. His daughter, Mary, married the son of Capt. Miles Standish.
Mrs. Campbell was a graduate of Marblehead High School, class of 1902. She was a charter member of the Marblehead American Legion Auxiliary and during World War I she served as an administrative assistant in the allocation of fuel in Marblehead.
She is survived by 2 sons, Curtis Campbell of Topsfield and Charles H. Campbell of Belmont, 6 grandchidlren and 7 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held in the Eustis and Cornell Funeral Home, Saturday at 2:30 p.m.
