Rita "Kitty" K. Griffin, 59, died suddenly at her Kingston NH home on November 22, 2007. She was born on May 4, 1948, in Inyokern CA, the daughter of the late Bernard and Rose (Cote) Bailey. Kitty grew up in Amesbury MA and was a graduate of Amesbury High School. For the last 35 years she resided in Kingston. A loving and dedicated mother and grandmother, Kitty was a talented seamstress and baker. She was well known for her delicious apple and pecan pies, as well as her beautiful quilts. She enjoyed reading, caring for the family horses, and most of all spending time with grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband Dave Griffin who died on December 7, 2000, and by her brother Robert Bailey.
She is survived by her daughter Samantha Millett of Kingston; son David Griffin, Jr., of Amesbury; sisters Paula Bailey of Amesbury, Jeanne Bauer of Naples FL, and Rose Marie Dube of Gardena CA; brothers Michael Bailey of Bradford MA, Chip Bailey of Amesbury, and Paul Bailey of Beaufort SC; grandchildren Alyssa Millett, Jordan Hauser, and Victoria and Alexander Griffin.
