HAMPTON - Rosie (Rosa) Bell Ballard went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, March 3, 2008.
She retired from the City of Newport News, but shortly thereafter she began babysitting her great-grandchildren.
As a member of New Life Church, she especially enjoyed the Praise and Worship.
Rosie's love for the Lord inspired and encouraged four generations of loved ones that cherished her.
The love and guidance that she shared will always be remembered but also demonstrated in their day-to-day life.
Rosie was preceded in death by her parents, Hossick and Eloise Bittle; husband, Edward Ballard; and daughter, Edith Williams.
