Donna Marie (Gilliam) Alexander, age 52, wife of David Alexander, of Union, SC, passed away Monday, April 16, 2012 at Wallace Thomson Hospital.
Mrs. Alexander was born in Union, SC, on July 17, 1959, a daughter of Kelly Leon Gilliam and the late Etta Sue (Mowdy) Gilliam.
She was a member of Christian Fellowship Baptist Church and formerly employed with Union County Communications for over 17 years.
Surviving in addition to her husband and father are a daughter, Jessica A. Maynard and husband Sam of Whitmire; one son, Michael Alexander of Simpsonville, SC; one brother Doug Gilliam and wife Pam of Buffalo; her stepmother, Brenda Wood Gilliam of Buffalo; two step brothers, Tommy Wood of Cowpens, SC and Toney Wood of Buffalo, SC; one grandson, Hunter Maynard and one niece Hannah Gilliam.
Funeral services were held 2:00 PM, Wednesday, April 18, 2012 at Christian Fellowship Baptist Church conducted by the Rev. Randy Smith. Burial was at Union Memorial Gardens.
Active pallbearers were Jimmy Crawford, "Bubba" Crawford, Rob Capps, Gregg Davis, and Darrell Jenkins.
Visitation was 7:00-9:00 PM, Tuesday, April 17, 2012 at Christian Fellowship Baptist Church.
