This same child appears to be enumerated with James and Rosanna on the 1870 census (F___ J.M., age 1/12) and as a 10 year old on the 1880 census, so it is likely the birth record is in error

The 1920 census specifically stated that the family was living on the Gladespring and Damascus Road. It appears that in the first few years of their marriage they also provided a home for Josephine's nephew, Claude Ritchie. [son of Josephine's brother James W. Ritchie]
Martha died on 12 Feb 1963 at age 92.
