Ronnie was a wonderful man. He was like a big brother to me. He always wanted to be married and have children of his own because he loved children so much and he was devoted to his family.
He married Kathy Spencer and moved to Gaffney in the mid 1970's. They had one son Jamie Spencer .
Ronnie and Jamie both died together in their sleep as a result of smoke inhalation from a fire in their trailer located in Gaffney,SC.
At his death he left behind his wife Kathy and his mother Frances Pittman of Gaffney SC,two brothers; Billy Spencer of Gaffney SC and Jimmy Spencer of Lockhart SC.Grandparents, Clarence and Mable Horne of Union SC,a niece and nephew also of Gaffney and many cousins. He was and still is dearly loved and missed. I have many wonderful memories of Ronnie and only wish I had more to share with my children.
