Survivors: his wife, Betty Akins of Claxton; three sons and a daughter-in-law, Carey and Savannah Akins of Dacula, GA., DeWayne Akins of Zion, IL., and Michael Akins of Douglasville, GA.; three daughters and sons-in-law, Melba Faye and Richard Rebicek of Silver Lake, WI., Donna Lynn and Paul VanRyn of Tinley Park, IL., and Anita Colleen and Mark Bubnich of FL.; nine grandchildren, George, Amy, Jordon, Taylor, Sydney, Evan, Ethen, Aaron and Daniel; and a host of other relatives.
