Mrs. A. Cardwell…age 89, 2020 Metropolitan Street, Souix City, Iowa, a long time resident of Souix City and vicinity, died on Monday afternoon at the residence. She had made her homewith, son, Hugh. Mrs Cardwell was born on feb. 17, 1867, at La Crosse, Wisc. She was Married to Marcellious Cardwell, Feb 10, 1884. She was a member of the Kinglsley, Ia ,, Methodist church.
Survivors by three sons, Hugh and Harvey , both of Souix City, and Earnest of Long Beach, ca ; two daughters . Mrs Elsie washburn of Souix City and Mrs Beaulah Hicks of Salem, Ore.: 15 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren.
The body was taken to the Nelson-Berger north side funeral home in Souix City.
