Killed by Train

E L Allen, 50 years old was killed about 6 o'clock pm in the north western yards, near the light plant, by a train backing in on a side track Wednesday.

He and another man were standing about the track talking. The train knocked him down, ran over him, cutting off his right foot, breaking his right arm in several places, crushing it and his right hand, hurting the face and chin, and crushing his body, driving his eyes from their sockets.

The funeral services will be held at the family residence at 2 o'clock Friday, conducted by Rev M V Billingham, pastor f the Nazarene Tabernacle; burial in the Frazier Cemetery.

He leaves a family, a brother E B Allen and other relatives to mourn his sad ending.

The News deplores the tragedy and tender sympathy to the bereaved relatives.
