GARY LOEWE
Mr. Gary Loewe, 52, of Hillsboro died Monday, May 10, 2004, in Hillsboro. He was born September 18, 1951, in Hillsboro, son of Henry Gus and Jimmie Ruth Morris Loewe. A graduate of Hillsboro High School, he also attended Hill College. After serving in the Air Force, he later lived in Austin and Colorado. For many years, he lived in Durango and southern Colorado where the mountains were his great joy. He enjoyed playing pool, hunting and working as a hunting guide in Colorado. Preceding him in death was his father, Henry Loewe. He was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include: his mother, Jimmie Ruth Loewe of Hillsboro; one son, Patrick Loewe of Austin; one sister, Sharon Garner and husband, Neill, of Austin; one niece, Hana Garner of Austin; and one nephew, Joel Garner of Austin. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. today (Thursday, May 13, 2004) at Marshall and Marshall Funeral Directors Chapel in Hillsboro with Dr. Allan Lane officiating. Burial will be at Covington Cemetery.
