The marriage of Miss Gertrude Margaret Bruns, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. August Bruns, of 85 Carl Street, to Chester O. Anderson, took place on Saturday, July 11, at Christ Lutheran Church at 8:30 o'clock. Immediately following the ceremony the bridal party and a number of relatives and friends were entertained at a wedding breakfast at the Whltcomb Hotel. The bride wore a beaded frock of white georgette, with lace veil arranged in coronet style and carried a bouquet of gardenias and lilies of the valley. The bridesmaid was Miss Emma Helene Bruns, who wore orchid georgette and carried roses and lilies of the valley. Henry Anderson was best man.
