Loving husband of Olive Sherriff.
Mr. Wilbur W. SNYDER - 51st Ave., Paw Paw, passed away Saturday evening, April 12, 1980 at Lake View Community Hospital, Paw Paw. Mr. SNYDER was born Feb. 25, 1908, in Ely, Mich., son of Frank and Almena SNYDER. He was a draftsman for Ford Motor Co. in Dearborn and retired in 1970. He and his wife, moved to Paw Paw in 1978 from Bloomingdale. He was preceded in death by a son, Harold SNYDER. Surviving are his wife, Olive; 9 children, Wilbur E. of Canyon County, CA; Miss Betty H. SNYDER of East Jordan, Robert C. of Kalamazoo, Mrs. Larry (Bonnie) DAMER of Zanesville, Ohio, Barry of East Jordan, Mrs. Ronald (Beverly) SULAK of East Jordan, Donald J. of Boyne City, Mich., Jack and Jerry of East Jordan; 4 step-children, Wesley FLEET of Leroy, Mich., Mrs. Vern (Lois) STRELING of Grand Rapids, Mrs. Larry (Norma) LUBS of Laporte, Ind), Mrs. Robert (Donna) SNYDER of Kalamazoo; 2 sisters, Mrs. Vernice MURPHY of Manistee, Mich. and Mrs. Nora EDWARDS, of Jacksonville, Fla, ; 39 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Hawley Funeral Home, Paw Paw, with Rev. Richard Gilaspy, of the Westwood Babpist Church, Kalamazoo, officiating. Graveside services will be held at Sunset Hill Cemetery, East Jordan, Mich., Thursday at 1 p.m. Visitation will begin this evening from 7 to 9.
