"Isabella Stephensen (Boyle) Belyea died August 3 1894 of congestion of the lungs, age 73 years, left husband, six daugthers and one son. She was a nearly forty years standing of the Carleton Calvinist Baptist Church, having been baptized and received therein by Rev. Edwin Clay, M.D. Interred Cedarhill Cemetery Saint John West."

On Saturday eve., Mr. and Mrs. Samuel W. BELYEA of Old Fort, Carleton (St. John) celebrated their Golden Wedding. Their six daughters, Mrs. JONES, Mrs. PARKER, Mrs. Samuel HUTTON, Mrs. D.C. WETMORE, Mrs. R. HURST and Miss Martha BELYEA were present. Mr. and Mrs. Belyea were married 50 years ago in a house near where Purves' mill now stands by Rev. Barrett, then pastor of the Methodist Church in Carleton.
