WALNUT CREEK, Ariz. [Calif.] – Jane Barlow, 59, formerly of Salem, died Nov. 30 of cancer.
Born in Salem, she graduated from Salem High School in 1954, Stephens College in 1956 and the University of Oregon in 1958. She was a member of Delta Gamma Sorority. She taught school in San Leandro, Calif., and owned and operated GARDEN DESIGN, a landscaping business in Walnut Creek. She loved flowers and gardening. She married Sam Statler, whom she later divorced.
Survivors include her son, Patrick Statler of San Francisco; daughter, Jennifer Fortescue of New Zealand; brothers, William and James Barlow, both of Salem; and one grandchild.
Services were held in the Unitarian Church where she was a member.
