Hanston – Earl A. Cure, 98, died March 24, 2012, at Hodgeman County Health Center, Jetmore.

He was born November 25, 1913, in Ashland, the son of Horace S. and Edith Isenbart Cure. He was a farmer/stockman.

He belonged to the St. Anthony Catholic Church and was a school board member for many years, both of Hanston.

On August 3, 1938, he married Johanna Frances Hoffman in Ashland. She died April 5, 1964.

Survivors include: James Cure and wife Coleen, Anthony Cure and wife Bonnie and Daniel Cure, all of Hanston, Kenneth Cure, Jetmore, Dr. Thomas Cure and wife Kay, Lenexa, Francis Cure, Pueblo, Colorado; a daughter, Mary Bohnen and husband Jerry, Yukon, Oklahoma; seventeen grandchildren and twenty-four great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by six brothers, Leo, William, Ernest, Paul, Joseph, Lloyd Cure; five sisters, Verna Hoffman, Dora Morrill, Esther Fuhrman, Zella Cure, Pearl Ney.

Vigil will be at 7p.m. Tuesday at St. Anthony Catholic Church, Hanston. Funeral Mass will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the church with Father Benjamin Dande presiding. Visitation will be from 9a.m. to 8p.m. Monday and 9a.m. to 5p.m. Tuesday at Beckwith Funeral Home, Jetmore. Burial will be in the St. Anthony Catholic Cemetery, Hanston.
