Mary M. Bonnett, 66, of Bussey died Feb. 21, 1990, at Monroe County Hospital. Services will be 1 p.m. Friday at Independent Bible Church in Bussey, the Rev. Wesley Lowery and James Johnston officiating. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Bussey. She was born Sept. 19, 1923, in Lockman to Dan F. and Emma Yates. She had lived most of her life in the Bussey area and a homemaker. She was a member of the Independent Bible Church in Bussey.
She married Carl Bonnett Nov. 2, 1942 in Missouri. She is survived by her husband; two sons, Boyd of Oskaloosa and Frank Wesley of Bussey; four daughters, Marlene Wells of Lovilia, Debra Avon of Lovilia, Rhonda Bonnett of Lovila and Brenda Bonnett of Bussey; and 14 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Carl Jr. and two grandchildren. Visitation began Thursday. An open memorial has been established.
Gilbert Funeral Home in Bussey is in charge of arrangements.
