A homemaker and resident of Centreville, Miss., for 80 years, she died at 2:45 p.m. Tuesday, March 26, 1996. She was 80 and a native of Philadelphia, Pa.
Visiting was held at Newman Funeral Home, Centreville, 6 to 10 p.m. Wednesday. Religious services at the funeral home at 2 p.m. Thursday, conducted by the Rev. Bo Mills. Interment in Oaklawn Cemetery.
Survived by two daughters, Margaret Jackson and Barbara Laiche, both of Prairieville; a sister, Barbara Smith, Jackson; five grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by husband, Harry Lee White; and a son, Tommy Metcalfe.
Pallbearers will be Cliff McKey, Joe Jackson, Billy Stiglets, Kerrie Billingsley, Jeremiah Billingsley and Dale McKey.
Honorary pallbearers are Robert, Robby and Matt McKey and Brandon Wardlaw.
She was a member of Centreville Baptist Church.
