Cassie was born to James Ogg and Elizabeth Pearlee 'Eliza' Heflin Ogg.
In 1900 she was living with her parents in Grimes County.
At 22 yrs. old she married James R. "Jim" Horn on March 22, 1903 in Nacogdoches County, Texas. They resided in Nachodoches. Jim died 24 April 1930.
By 1940, she had married her 2nd husband, Thomas Coleman Mahan, a Baptist minister and they were living in San Patricio, Texas. Cassie's 2nd husband also preceded her in death.
Cassie lived in a retirement home in Rockdale, Texas the last couple years of her life where she taught a Bible study. She was an amazing woman with a strong faith. She was my great-great-aunt and I was blessed to have known her.
